Manage relationship with CoManufacturers
Accountable for managing part of a regional EM category portfolio with ~ € 100MM spend. Manage assigned co-manufacturers (CoMs) to ensure flawless execution of EM projects and delivery of FC requirements in terms of supply, quality, price and service.
Develop, recommend and execute Sourcing Strategies in line with the Category Strategic Plan (LRP) and Market Opportunities for the EMEA region. Proactively adapt EM sourcing strategies where necessary, to ensure that category/business requirements are met. Support optimization within the BG supply network by leading sourcing projects and Make or Buy analysis.
Execute Sourcing Strategies to deliver savings/productivity programs through Insourcing, Outsourcing, Bidding, co-development. Align with BG and other procurement functions in order to maximize Savings.
Drive change Mgmt. processes in leading communication through Procurement and BG Stake Holders.
Manage preparation and planning of the negotiations for CoM business agreements across the region. Conduct negotiations by employing appropriate techniques and leading cross-functional input. Lead and manage the negotiation of contracts to ensure FC receives the best possible supply, quality, prices, terms and conditions to secure competitive advantage vs. the peer companies/competitors within the scope of responsibility. Drive forward specification management, audit initiation & tracking, scale leverage, etc
Lead the process of reviewing existing suppliers and searching for new suppliers, define and recommend a Supplier Base based on Suppliers capabilities answering business needs. Establish and maintain good working relationships with suppliers to build agreements that are compatible with local needs per single plant & SKU.
- University degree (Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting/Finance or technical degree is preferred);
- Excellent negotiation, project management and communication skills with all levels of organization;
- Capability to establish best cross-functional & cross functional team-leadership;
- Ideally working experience of >5 years within Procurement, Manufacturing and/or RD&Q, Engineering function or Plan & Deliver;
- Pro-active, accountable, drive for results.
