Logistics Account Manager Retail Brands Europe


Within FrieslandCampina we have a challenging role as Logistics Account Manager for the Operating Company Retail Brands Europe within the Business Group Consumer Products Europe, Middle East and Africa (CPEMEA). 


As Logistics Account Manager you will contribute to Retail Brands Europe (RBE) success by supporting order to cash sales and distribution activities, designing and implementing changes to the supply chain network and improves service, optimizes these flows to enable sales growth. The focus will be on New Business Development countries and on Retailers.

Your result areas are:

Support Customer Service activities (order entry, follow up deliveries, complaints, point of contact for customer, LSP’er and SC) for

  • New Business Development countries like Denmark, Poland and Italy
  • Retail for new product introductions from non-home countries (for example fruit on yoghurt produced in Germany and supplied to AH in the Netherlands)

Be the Logistic Account Manager for some retailers and have meetings to define specific customer needs and translate these to the internal organization.

First point-of-contact for Business Development team and Sales team to translate customer requests (tenders, new products, samples) towards internal stakeholders. Gathering business requirements, evaluating options for proposal and aligning internal stakeholders to agreed outcome

Drive implementations ‘deliver to market’. Ensure that all internal departments are ready to deliver products towards customers.

Support RBE with business and supply chain improvements (implementation of new ICT tools, project and portfolio management, QA Sales)


In order to be successful in this position, we expect the candidate to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree (Business Administration, Supply Chain)
  • 2-5 years of relevant working experience in Supply Chain (FMCG of Retail preferred)
  • Good knowledge and understanding of complete Supply Chain processes and processes of customers and suppliers
  • Excellent communication skills in English is a must. Dutch, German and/or French is preferred
