Senior Business Analyst Production Planning / Scheduling

FrieslandCampina is looking for a Senior Business Analyst – Scheduling within the Make-to-Demand process team of its Process Transformation Office (PTO) in Amersfoort.

In this role you are responsible to support functional process excellence based on best practices across FrieslandCampina worldwide. You closely support the ongoing global solution set implementation (SUMMIT), through further strengthening high quality global standard template designs. This template is globally implemented in around 70 production plants.

Using your ability to analyze, design and optimize end-to-end processes, you will work with other business analysts and functional consultants, as well as business process owners, on a variety of business improvement projects, often to tight deadlines. A great opportunity to make the most of your consultancy and communication skills, experience of process modeling with your Scheduling knowledge including SAP APO or OMP+. A good team player with strong planning and organizational skills, you are sensitive to the needs of a business and have a real flair for translating those needs into IT concepts. Indeed, when it comes to suggesting IT solutions that will bring about real business improvements you are both proactive and highly influential.


  • Master degree, preferably IT, Econometrics or logistics related
  • Min 8 years’ experience in process analysis and optimization, requirements analysis and design. Including experience in full cycle implementations
  • Min 8 years’ experience with Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS), for example OMP, Quintiq, Infor AS or APO
  • A solid understanding of the business direction, an overall view of the “big picture”, and a good knowledge of the business being impacted by the project’s implementation and translate this to best fit IT solutions
  • Experience with steering/coaching a small team that supports the road map of the solution and deployment teams
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Quick learner
  • Customer focused, ability to maintain strong relationships with different stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel in the Netherlands and occasionally abroad
